Lipotropic Injections (LipoVite)

Many people use Lipotropic injections (or LipoVite) in conjunction with many different diet plans to aid in weight loss. At Image Essentials, we use liptropic injections to non-invasively help patients achieve their ideal weight. But what exactly are lipotropic injections and who can benefit from them?

What are lipotropic injections?

With ‘lipo’ right there in its name, it’s quite common to confuse lipotropic injections with lipotherapy injections or liposuction. However, lipotherapy is the process of fat removal or targeted fat reduction of localized fat deposits in the body. B12 lipotropic injections, on the other hand, increase your body’s own ability to burn fat.

The basis of B12 lipotropic injections is that Vitamin B12 is one of many essential vitamins our bodies use to create and boost energy. Lipotropics are a combination of specific amino acids, which are used in removing fat from the body via the liver’s metabolism processes. In other words, lipotropics help maintain a healthy liver.

A healthy liver is a crucial factor in our body’s ability to burn fat because of the major role the liver plays in human metabolism. The liver has a number of important functions within human metabolism including glycogen storage, plasma protein synthesis, and detoxification. The liver is also responsible for producing a compound called bile, which aids in digestion and the breakdown of lipids (fats).

How can LipoVite help me lose weight?

Have you ever gotten home from a long day of work only to plop down on the couch because you’re simply too exhausted to workout? You woke up that morning with every intention of going for a run after work. But after a long stressful day, your body simply can’t muster up the energy. Perhaps you can relate to this scenario.

LipoVite injections help patients lose weight by boosting their energy and metabolism. When we have more energy, we tend to burn more calories. With an energy surplus, our body craves to expend this extra energy through exercise or other non-sedentary activities. Instead of letting Fido run around in the backyard after work, you and your fury friend decide to go on a walk around the neighborhood. Instead of vegging out on the couch watching Netflix, you’re up and moving and being active. As a result, your body burns more calories, which helps you lose more weight.

In addition to having more energy, LipoVite can also give our body’s metabolism a boost! This is crucial for fat loss because a faster metabolism has been shown to help our bodies burn more calories and fat–even while we’re sleeping! After you and Fido return home from an energizing walk through the neighborhood, your body continues to burn fat as you prepare dinner, do a load of laundry, and get the kids ready for bed.

When you have more energy, you’re more active. The more active you are, the more energy you have throughout the week; it’s a compounding effect!

What ingredients are in LipoVite?

The nutrients in lipotropic shots are a class of agents that play important roles in the body’s use of fat. Lipotropic injections include a combination of important amino acids and vitamins.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is important for the normal functioning of the nervous system and for the formation of blood. It is involved in the metabolism of most cells of the body, especially affecting DNA synthesis and regulation. Vitamin B12 also plays an important role in fatty acid synthesis and energy production. Many medical conditions, illnesses, and substance dependencies, as well as normal aging, can lead to vitamin B12 deficiency.

Choline and Inositol

Choline and Inositol are natural coenzymes required for the proper metabolism of fats. Together, they have the ability to remove fat from the liver. Choline function in fat metabolism is related to its role in bile production. Without choline, fats can become trapped in the liver where they can block normal metabolic functions leading to weight gain. In addition to their role in fat metabolism, choline and inositol are also necessary for normal nerve and brain function.

Choline is a fat emulsifier which aids in emulsifying cholesterol so that it does not settle on arterial walls. Choline works well with inositol to utilize fats and cholesterol. The body can produce choline with the help of vitamin B12, folic acid, and methionine. However, natural choline production, may not always be adequate to meet daily needs. Studies show that diets deficient in choline lead to undesirable changes to liver, kidney, and brain functions.

Inositol is a member of the B-Complex group and is a lipotropic agent. It metabolizes fats and cholesterol and aids in transporting fat in the blood system. Thus, inositol is an aid in the redistribution of body fat and can help lower cholesterol levels. A lack of this lipotropic agent may lead to an accumulation of triglycerides in the liver.

Metionine

Methionine has lipotropic properties similar to those of choline. Two other important amino acids (taurine and cysteine) depend on adequate levels of methionine for their biosynthesis in the body. Methionine is one of the nutrients required during the body’s manufacturing of choline. A deficiency of this amino acid will adversely affect fat metabolism and may lead to fatty degeneration and cirrhosis of the liver.

In summary

B12 Lipotropic injections may:

  1. Keep cholesterol more soluble
  2. Prevent accumulation of fats in the liver
  3. Metabolize fats and cholesterol
  4. Aid in transporting fat in the blood stream & removal
  5. Enhance the reduction of fat in the body
  6. Increase our average daily energy level and physical sense of well-being

Lipotropic injections can be administered as frequently as once or twice a week, but they can be given more often than that as long as there are forty-eight hours between injections. Losing two pounds a week is a healthy weight loss, but while taking lipotropic injections you can expect to lose at least three pounds a week and still maintain a healthy weight loss.

PLEASE NOTE: LipoVite injections are not a complete substitute for proper diet and exercise. LipoVite injections assist your primary efforts to enhance your weight loss results. For maximum effects, use LipoVite injections in conjunction with proper observation of diet and exercise.
